Yes, it’s all about comfort zone
When you go to meet people that do different stuff than you, and are so much more different than you – suddenly you realize how stupid you are (and I don’t mean “stupid stupid” but that there are so many things that aren’t fashion and could inspire it). When leaving our comfort zone, we start to have our minds more open. You’re becoming a better version of who you are.
Networking babe!
There is a word “working”, hidden in networking. It means that it’s a part of your job. And it doesn’t matter if you’re a designer, researcher, financial specialist, fashion PR girl or an editor’s assistant. Meeting people who are not like you, who you didn’t realize existed, who are interesting and might bring something to your business (maybe not today, maybe tomorrow or in the next 10 years?) – this is your job.
Broadening your perspective, making better work
This is what I’m trying to do – bring people together in order to inspire them to create amazing fashion projects, using the internet, hardware, 3d printing or whatever the technology might be. If you use it first and do it good – you’re winning everything. It pays off to learn and be open minded.
So what did I learn from Wolves Summit?
